Overview: We investigate the dynamics of a population-imbalanced binary fermionic system confined to an optical lattice. Fermions paired here can form boson molecules via Feshbach coupling in the presence of an external magnetic field. Natural fluctuations in the condensate fraction have been shown to be periodic beyond the Feshbach detuning threshold. And below this threshold, the condensate shows no oscillations at all. The oscillation frequency versus detuning curve is linear in nature. The slope and intercept of this line have been shown to carry important information about the amount of imbalance present in the system and the nature of pairings that occur in population imbalance systems. Most importantly, it helps identify the Fulde-Ferrel-Larkin-Ovchinikov (FFLO) phase. This is because its signature is different from other possible phases.
