overview: Recently, the leading orders of the Fermi gas correlation energies in the coupled mean-field and semiclassical scaling domains have been derived under the assumption of interaction potentials with small norms and compact support in Fourier space. We generalize this result to large interaction potentials, requiring only $|\cdot|. \hat{V} \in \ell^1 (\mathbb{Z}^3)$. Our proof is based on an approximate collective bosonization in 3D. Significant improvements compared to recent work include stronger bounds on the non-bosonization terms and more efficient control of kinetic energy bosonization.
